  • Anthropologie ... how I've officially become old

So apparently I've been drooling over a store that doesn't even target my specific age group. In fact, it targets affluent 30-40 somethings.

No wonder I see so many older women in there when I'm window shopping during my lunch break.

And no wonder I can't afford to shop there regularly ... I'm neither affluent nor in my 30's yet.

  • It's the season of Male roommates

I've been looking through hundreds of craigslist posts for roommates and apts, and all I keep coming up with are guys looking for roommates, or gay guys looking for roommates, or guys emailing me looking for me to be their roommate ... and I'm like "Why aren't there any girls looking for roommates who actually get back to me?" Only guys seem to respond to my inquiries, even when my inquiry asks if the anonymous poster is a guy or girl because I'm looking for a girl roommate. Instead, I get responses from guys asking for me to reconsider my female-only stance since they have a room if I'm interested.

Are guys the only ones who live in cool parts of manhattan but lack roommates? Aren't there any girls on the UWS who actually know how to respond to phone calls and emails like guys apparently can?

I wish I could look this cute for a party. Normally I just look like an overgrown 6 yr old in a dress.

Mountain Lodge Skirt from Anthropologie - $118

     Double-face Wool Bella Coat from J.Crew - $350

I am going to be one excited bird when these two things go on sale ... muwahahahaha.

  • Once upon a time ...

    I had a fan base.

I recently started several bloggers ... seeing as how it was at the forefront of blogging. I started posting backdated material from this xanga, because it was so much easier to do than on xanga or livejournal ... and in doing so came across works of creative writing I forgot I even wrote. Even more surprising was the multitude of comments I used to get about writing, praising it, critiquing it ... it was once amazing.

I wish I still had that flair for writing ... and the fan base that would tell me how to improve, or even if I was on the right path.

  • That was easy ...

I was prepared this morning to make a really difficult decision about an apt, and luckily I had the decision made for me. At least I don't have to worry about wanting to kick myself later.
