  • Bollywood Nights

I just started reading an advance copy of the book ... and I'm not sure that I like reading it. Supposedly the book was a big hit in India under the title STARRY NIGHTS.

    more later ...

  • Let's compare again ...

     Armani Exchange ... $130

     GAP ... $69.50

    Anthropologie ... $118

    Forever 21 ... $22.80

and just for kicks ... my favorite brand new dress in the whole wide world right now:

Anthropologie ... $168 [I bought it before it soldout in stores]

P.S. I also currently own the Armani dress ... but it's future is questionable.

  • Let's compare

       anthropologie ... $78

     forever21 ... $27.80

Is there really $50.20 worth of difference?

  • Mother's Day gift

So I bought my mom this coat:

and she totally flipped out ... just because it's from Armani.

Moms ... they complain about being unappreciated ... and then don't appreciate when you do something selfless and give them something nice. btw: she ASKED me for a trench coat.

  • Is the diet over????

i feel like i've abandoned my original slimdown plan. i'm eating less, but eating healthier foods. i haven't cut the lattes and hot chocolates yet, but those are my once a week indulgences. i don't miss eating pop tarts, but i am really saddened by special k cereal. i am not looking forward to another bowl of it tomorrow morning. i haven't worked out at all, or at least i haven't worked out in the way i was meaning to. i think i lost weight, but that wasn't the goal of the diet. it's so difficult to be on a diet and trying to change my lifestyle to be more productive and healthy when there is no one else supporting you. i'm in this pretty much alone. i've also learned that it's really easy to get addicted to cereal bars that advertise using honey as a sweetener. i love honey. someone told me honey is great on grapefruits. i love grapefruit. with salt. and pepper. i know. i'm a weirdo. i've been skipping meals too. considering how much i like to eat, i feel i must be pretty depressed to be skipping meals entirely.

i think i'm done with my rambling for the day.
